We can make jewellery with childrens prints of any age.
If your child is 18 months or younger we’d suggest you order Hand or Footprint Jewellery as children’s fingerprints don’t start to fully develop until this age. Hand and footprint jewellery can be made with prints from children of any age.
Children over 24 months will have a good fingerprint and children from age 7 yrs plus will have a really defined print.
Yes. You can take an adults fingerprint or hand/footprint and we can create any style of jewellery with an adults print.
If you’ve taken prints in the past and would like us to use them for an order please take a photo and email the prints to info@preciouspieces.co.uk and we’ll double check that they can be used. As long as you can see a clear print we’ll be able to use them,
Ordering from Precious Pieces is easily. Simply select the items you’d like and add them to your basket, ensuring you select the correct options, such as necklace chain length, ring size, etc.
If you require an impression kit, the relevant kit will be listed on the product page. You can add this to your order when ordering your item.
Impression kits are required for:
You DO NOT need an Impression Kit for Enhanced Fingerprint Jewellery. All you need a sellotape, clean white paper and a pencil.

Impression Kits are delivered for free.
Personalised Jewellery orders are delivered via Royal Mail First Class Recorded and the cost is £4.40 for your whole order.
Once you’ve placed your order we’ll process it. If you’ve ordered an impression kit we’ll send it to you within 24 hours.

When you’ve taken your prints, send them back to us:
- Enhanced Jewellery prints need to be sent through the post to Precious Pieces Jewellery, 87 Barton Rd, Congerstone, Warwickshire, CV13 6NB.
- Classic Fingerprint Impression Kits need to be sent through the post to Precious Pieces Jewellery, 87 Barton Rd, Congerstone, Warwickshire CV13 6NB.
- Hand and Footprints can be photographed and
- Paw Prints can be photographed and
- emailed to info@preciouspieces.co.uk or via Whatsapp/imessage to 07506 839866.
We’ll email you to confirm that we’ve received your prints and request any information that we’re missing (such as engravements) and we’ll also ask if you’d like to make any amendments to your order, as after this point no changes can be made.
When we begin to make your order we guarantee delivery with 5 weeks but we aim to have all order complete and posted to you within 3 weeks.
You’re able to cancel or amend your order until we start to work on it, so until you return you Impression Kit you can cancel. If you do choose to cancel you’ll still be charged for the Impression Kit.

All jewellery is made to order and unique so we only accept returns if there is a fault with the item. We will not offer a refund after the making process has began, so call us quickly if you change your mind.
Examples of excepted returns are –
- Jewellery created in the wrong design.
- If there is an error with engraving.
